Rash and petechiation, early sign?

34 year old male developed petechiation on hands and feet 1 week before developing respiratory signs and severe body aches. As per this case report, this may be an early sign. Platelet count was normal, pneumonia noted on radiographs. Currently on amoxicillin and azithromycin. Static shortness of breath, fever has resolved, currently having diarrhea, SPO2 95%.

I’m a critical care PharmD out of NW Indiana and have also seen patients present with petechiae
